Windermere Community Mural program

The Community Mural is being created at Windermere Secondary School by up to 1,000 youth in the community over a span of approximately 4 years.

The goals of the project are:

Windermere Community Mural before photoThe wall surrounding Windermere School’s tennis wall is the canvas for the Community Mural. Each year a new section will be added and will give an opportunity to reflect diversity and foster community growth. Discussions facilitated by the schools will help the students to develop ideas to inspire the artwork.

Windermere Community MuralThe project is supported by the Collingwood Neighbourhood House and the Renfrew Community Centre. Youth groups from each organization are contributing positively to this youth driven opportunity.
