Youth of Unsung Talents Heard

With shy and unspoken youth in mind, the Youth of Unsung Talents Heard project will involve 25 youth in a series of creative writing, theatre, and visual art workshops encouraging them to develop their artistic skill, articulate their stories, and engage with the community. Workshop participants will be invited to publish their work in an anthology produced for local teens.
The goals of the program are:
- To nurture the unacknowledged talents of their peers;
- To develop the artistic skill of youth;
- To give youth the opportunity to express themselves through art;
- To develop a sense of belonging among peers;
Connect youth who are not currently active in the community.
