Hello GetOut! gang,
There are a number of opportunities coming up for you to show the great work you have done and for connecting with other great initiatives happening this summer at the city.
A Delegation of GetOut! Ambassadors is currently being brought together to participate at these exciting events.
If you have participated in any of the over 70 GetOut! projects, programmes or activities this year, please have a look to the list of upcoming events and let us know if you want to join us.

June 14 th -16 th Delegation of GetOut! Ambassadors to Growing Up in Cities (GUiC)

Growing Up in Cities is a global effort to understand and respond to these and other questions, and to help address the issues affecting urban children and youth. It is a collaborative undertaking of the MOST Programme of UNESCO and interdisciplinary teams of municipal officials, urban professionals, and child advocates around the world, working with young people themselves to create communities that are better places in which to grow up-and therefore, better places for us all.
June 19 th -23 rd Delegation of GetOut! Ambassadors to World Urban Forum (WUF)

On June 19-23, Vancouver will be the host for the UN World Urban Forum (WUF3). Thousands of participants from more than 150 nations will discuss, debate and share experiences about how to make our cities better places to live.

June 21 st -25th Delegation of GetOut! Ambassadors to Earth: the World Urban Festival

Earth: the World Urban Festival is the UNESCO-designated official arts and culture festival of the World Urban Forum. It will bring artists from around the globe to Vancouver to share their stories and experiences, and help build awareness of the role of art in creating livable, sustainable and vibrant cities.
