Youth Power Squad

assets map created by Youth Power SquadYouth from Cedar Cottage Neighbourhood House, the Greater Vancouver Association for the Deaf and the Trout Lake Youth Council came together to work on a project for youth who want to push their boundaries by meeting new people and trying out new things.

The Youth Action Team planned projects that challenged people to move beyond that little circle of friends and form a bigger circle. Their goals were to help youth express themselves, involve youth of different abilities, challenge assumptions about ability, help build confidence, create opportunities to make new friends, and create a project where everyone is equal and respected.
